The combination of Kathy's "Starting Your Freelance Business" class and Emily's marketing class showed me that I can step outside my comfort zone when I have an understanding of principles and strategies for marketing. I especially liked the personal responses to the class homework. I learned even more by reading these posts to classmates' assignments. I liked the one-assignment requirement, but completed two or more each time, even when I only posted one. Sometimes the assignments started a process in my mind that I will continue working to complete. I loved the personal attention Emily provided, and I was thankful for the pdf file of all the lessons. I save all of the lessons, but this file is a convenient way to go back over the material covered without opening five different files.
