One of my clients received a personal request, from the executive editor of a major Christian publishing house, to submit a fiction proposal prior to the 2008 Blue Ridge Conference. As a result of that request, an outstanding marketing platform, and a terrific thriller manuscript, my client immediately signed with a great agent. And at the conference, the editor was so impressed with the proposal that he requested not just one full manuscript, but two. Plus, two other editors requested partials. Everyone involved is walking on air.
