Skye Nicholson and Sooze Bodmer had been friends and “partners in crime” for several years at Madison Middle School. A court order and a love for horses bring them together again at Keystone Stables, with Tom and Eileen Chambers as Skye’s foster parents.
Skye remembers when she, like Sooze, hated everyone and everything. She didn’t love anyone and was certain no one loved her. Now Skye faces the challenge of helping Sooze learn that she is loved by all her friends at Keystone Stables, but most of all, that she is loved by God.
The two girls struggle to break their ties with the past and begin a new life. While Sooze constantly tries to pull Skye back into their old ways, Skye continues to try to win Sooze over to “the right side.”
Through tragic circumstances, Sooze learns that Skye is right: she is loved—more than she ever dreamed possible.
This is a poignant story of two young teens who are searching for answers and find them when they turn to God.
Anyone who reads the first two books in this series will look forward to the next book about Skye Nicholson and Tom and Eileen Chambers. Follow their story in Teamwork at Camp Tioga.
