Have you heard about using social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or blogs, to market your services? Maybe you’re using Facebook to keep up with family and friends, or perhaps you’ve started a blog about your favorite subject. Even if you’ve never used social media before, you can learn how to use these venues to reach potential clients and market your company. Students in this course will learn how to set up a blog and accounts at Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn to use for marketing. They will also learn about other methods of social media, such as podcasts and network aggregates, as well as what other social networking sites are available.
You will learn about:
1. Using social media venues to promote, build an image, reach potential clients, and market your services.
2. Setting up accounts at Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn to use for marketing (even if you already use them for personal use).
3. Identifying the specific features of each of the three main social media sites for marketing.
5. Finding social media content.
6. Identifying or using other social media, such as blogs and podcasts.
