Network Membership:
Membership in The Christian PEN's online group is FREE! Network members can:

(We also encourage members, especially those who attend out-of-town writers
conferences, to make efforts to meet other members in person.)
* Find new clients
* Refer clients you can't handle yourself
(either due to time constraints or because the client's needs are outside your area of
expertise)
* Post messages relevant to freelance proofreading, editing, and related occupations
* Exchange ideas, tips, news, findings, questions/answers, resources, and suggestions
* Post details on conferences and events
* Ask questions about editing, proofreading, and other aspects of Christian publishing
* Share discoveries from The Chicago Manual of Style and other publishing references
* Pass on writing and business tips
* Advertise books and other products, and buy other members' books, as well as various writing and reference materials
* Take online courses offered by contributing members
* Best of all, you become a member of a family of freelancers like yourself. Members may include the words "Member of The Christian PEN: Proofreaders and Editors Network" (and the TCP logo) on their business cards, Web sites, resumes, and other promotional material.
